Binta Patel has spent her career where most people never look — inside the machinery of the American healthcare system. Since 2013, she has worked in medical billing and revenue cycle management, helping small and medium-sized medical practices navigate the complex world of insurance reimbursements, credentialing, contracting, and accounts receivable recovery. Through that work, she developed something most insurance professionals simply don't have: a ground-level understanding of what actually happens after you hand over your insurance card. She has read the denial letters, untangled the billing codes, and seen firsthand how the wrong plan — or a misunderstood benefit — can result in unexpected costs for patients who had no idea the gap existed.

That experience is what inspired her to establish Insurance Services By Zen LLC. Binta recognized that the people who most needed an advocate inside the healthcare system were not the providers — they were the patients and families trying to make sense of Medicare on their own. Backed by more than a decade of healthcare industry knowledge and over eleven years of program management experience leading large-scale operational transformations in high-technology environments, she brings a rare combination of clinical-world fluency and business discipline to Medicare insurance guidance. She is a licensed Medicare insurance agent with a deep understanding of how insurance decisions ripple through the entire healthcare experience gives her clients an advantage that no amount of purely insurance-side experience can replicate.
